Chapter IV: The Fourth Star
The Army laid down the coffin covered with the US flag.
The media waiting outside swarmed into the graveyard.
"Officer John, who do you think is behind the killings of these famous leaders?"
"Katie Brown. Where is she?"
"I'm here."
"I'm here."
Everyone turned around.
She was in the back, silently listening to all of the answers just like a cat silently preys on the pigeon.
"Okay, Katie, this is a clue. The 52 stars are there; only 4 are finished. The remaining 48 are remaining."
He started 'walking' which would soon be changed to 'running'.
When he was going away from the crowd, a man ran and asked him in a French tone,
"Sir, you played e4, he played e5, you played Nf3, he played Nc6. What's your move?"
"It's simple," answered John. "I played Nc3."
He opened his jeep door and started the jeep.
He thought to himself,
"Wait, how did that person know this much information? I did not tell about Pierre! Unless-"
He ran after the fake media man.
The man ran, calling someone.
"Pierre, The job is done."
A voice answered back:
"Prepare for extraction."
The man, cut the call, still running, with the Army man chasing him. The media impersonator went up a tall monument, ran towards the helipad.
The helicopter was waiting for him.
The pilot looked like Pierre.
John knew what happened at the border.
He thought to himself,
"No, this is not Pierre. The border. He is a fake."
Then a call.
He took it.
"John Lesley, after seeing me you stopped. Can't you see the pilot?"
John looked at the pilot.
The pilot muttered something, holding a phone, muttering 'goodbye'.
The same word was heard on the phone.
A note fluttered past his head. He took it. It read,
'Arizona, USA. See you there!'
The helicopter flew southwest.
Nice story
